I'm doing something I said I'd never do: a blog. The truth is, my husband and I are pregnant with our first child and I thought now was as good a time as ever to document our growing household for friends and family that don't live where we do, in the greater Washington, D.C. area. And, at the risk of being too cliche, tonight just happened to bring me the inspiration for my first post.
I was setting our outdoor table for dinner (tonight's menu: grilled grouper and brussel sprouts, and Israeli couscous) and noticed a robin nesting in our umbrella. Inside the nest are four perfect blue eggs.
