doggone days of summer

...

...

It has been hot. While the excessive heat is to blame for far too many trips to Pinkberry than I care to admit, what to give Bogie for a summertime treat?

Enter: Dogma Bakery, where they serve ice cream in flavors such as bacon and peanut butter for our four-legged friends. A few days ago, we got our paws on a cup of peanut butter for Bogie and she lapped, lapped, lapped it up.

Dogma has two locations--one in Shirlington, and another near us off Harrison Street. In addition to their seasonal ice cream flavors, Dogma sells homemade baked goods that are both pet friendly and preservative free. I also think Dogma is better than your standard big-box store for natural chews (I'm looking at you, Petsmart on Lee Highway), as their pigs' ears are never greasy or wrapped in bulk.
